Purpose: This position will be responsible for managing, tracking, and optimizing the inventory of products, materials, and supplies.
Responsibilities
- Utilize Epicor software to process cycle counts, review on-hand inventory, current activity, and past activity.
- Ensure that material issued, job completion reports, and manufacturing receipts match.
- Cycle counts raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, and nonconforming materials daily per schedule.
- Analyze variances between system and actual counts.
- Work with coating line supervisors and team members to improve inventory accuracy.
- Ensure materials are in proper locations. Conducts searches to locate misclassified inventory.
- Report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products to supervision - publish weekly.
- Communicate and develop process enhancements as needed (performs root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and recommends process improvements to eliminate them)
Required Skills & Abilities
- Accurately count, verify, and record all receipts within a reasonable timeframe.
- Notify appropriate departments of products received and efficiently organize.
- Put away and move inventory so the system accurately displays its location.
- Perform all job functions in accordance with safety and security policies and ensure the safekeeping of all warehouse inventory and equipment.
- Operate forklift with proper certification only and in accordance with safety policies.
- Verify all product movement is accompanied by the appropriate authorization and documentation.
- Assist with stocking to effectively manage supply levels and on-hand products.
- Outline daily tasks and prioritize tasks to meet customer deadlines.
- Productive customer relationships through effective communication

- Ability to work independently with little to no supervision.
Education & Experience:
- High School, some college.
- 1-4 years preferably in the Manufacturing industry.
- Productive customer relationships through effective communication.
- Critical thinker to envision and implement process improvements.
- Demonstrates great attention to detail; must be well-organized.
- Excels in a team-oriented environment.
- Versatile, confident, and a disciplined work ethic.
- Competency in basic computer skills.
