BMF is seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Design Engineer to join our team and support the development of glazing projects. This technical role is responsible for creating and reviewing shop drawings, ensuring constructability, and providing engineering expertise that aligns with BMF Corporation’s high-quality standards. Candidates should have strong experience in façade systems, the ability to interpret architectural/structural requirements, and the technical skillset to support complex projects from concept through fabrication and installation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and review detailed shop drawings, calculations, and fabrication drawings for curtainwall, storefront, window wall, glass, and panel systems.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, estimators, fabricators, and field teams to ensure design intent translates effectively into construction.
- Provide technical support during bidding, fabrication, and installation phases.
- Identify and resolve constructability issues, discrepancies, or conflicts in design documents.
- Maintain accurate design documentation and participate in submittal reviews.
- Stay current with evolving façade technologies, materials, and engineering best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in façade, glazing, or panel system design.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Logikal, PartnerPak & Glazier Studio.
- Strong understanding of Curtainwall, Storefront, ACM, and Unitized systems.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
