Position Summary
The Quality Engineer / Specialist I supports day-to-day quality activities within manufacturing operations. This role focuses on learning core quality systems, supporting inspections and data analysis, and assisting with problem-solving efforts to ensure products meet customer and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Support inspection, testing, and documentation activities
- Assist with nonconformance tracking and corrective action documentation
- Collect and analyze quality data related to defects, scrap, and rework
- Support audits and compliance activities under guidance
- Partner with production teams to understand quality requirements
- Learn core quality tools, standards, and systems
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Foundational understanding of quality principles
- Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline
- Basic data analysis skills
- Willingness to learn and work cross-functionally
Education and Experience
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
- Experience
- 0–2 years of quality or manufacturing experience
