About the Role:
As an Aluminum Fabricator at Double O Inc., you’ll be responsible for cutting, drilling, and assembling aluminum components used in commercial glass and glazing systems. Working in our fabrication shop, you'll help ensure that storefronts, curtain walls, and other systems are built to precise specifications and delivered on time. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, values accuracy, and enjoys working with their hands in a team-focused environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings, cut sheets, and shop drawings
- Measure, cut, drill, and assemble aluminum components to spec
- Operate saws, punches, and other fabrication equipment safely and accurately
- Inspect parts for quality and accuracy before packaging or delivery
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow company safety protocols and contribute to a team-oriented environment
- Ability to work Monday through Friday 7 am to 4 pm with overtime as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in aluminum fabrication, commercial glazing, or similar trade
- Ability to read and understand fabrication/shop drawings
- Comfortable using saws, drills, and other hand/power tools
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
- Ability to work within a team
- Ability to manage a variety of work and adapt to changing situations
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Preferred: proficient in using power tools
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
